Because there was no market for paranormal at the time Night Pleasures came out, Sherri's editor was terrified of using the word 'vampire' on the back cover of the book. She honestly thought no one would buy a vampire book and that if they used the word, no one would buy it. The copy had to be rewritten three times before they could find a good compromise.
Which is NOT a name that is used in reference to Talon?

The problem with copy editors is sometimes they're a little too literal. Sherri had in the original Night Pleasures that Kyrian was attacked by a 7 year old Apollite he mistook for a human teen and of course, the editor "fixed" it and made a mistake because we all know that at 14 an Apollite would look grown. Sherri cringes over it to this day.
